The high cost is due to complex factors like pharmaceutical pricing and insurance limitations. Many families pay over $300 for a single 2-pack—even with insurance. That’s why Epi Buddies exists: to make them accessible through funding and support.

Children or adults with known severe allergies (to food, insect stings, medications, etc.) should carry one at all times—and ideally have extras at school, daycare, or with trusted adults.

Yes! Many states allow or require schools to stock “undesignated” EpiPens for emergency use, even if a student isn’t diagnosed. We provide info kits for schools on how to get started.
